Słowiński National Park (SPN) is one of the beautiful national parks in Poland. Situated along the Baltic Sea, not far from the Hel Peninsula, it stretches from the city of Łeba to Rowy. The park fascinates me because of its stunning sand dunes, evoking the feeling of being in a desert, but you are just few meters from the sea. These dunes, with their unique shapes and sandy textures, provide excellent opportunities for captivating abstract photography and to play with the contrast created by the texture. One notable feature of the park is found in the village of Czołpino, where the “Zatopiony Las” (Submerged Forest) is located. Here, you can discover evidences of a forest that once thrived in this area, which is now a beach.
